This is what a blogger posted to me at a blog where I was talking down very directly all the cultural decay in our society by Liberals - abortion, homosexuality as positive, and false gods of all kinds:
"I have one serious question for you, that I'd hope you consider. Are you, yourself, a sinner? I know that the Bible answers this question. God knows that every person is a sinner. And you-you're a sinner. God also says that you should not judge others for their sin. And that you should only judge your own sin. Jesus was a friend to everyone, even a prostitute. If you are a real Christian, you should believe this. If you are a real Christian, you should be a friend to all. If you are a real Christian, you should stop these posts. They're horrible. I feel bad for you. I honestly feel bad for you, and I pray that God will have mercy on you (which he will). Like the Bible says, God forgives you for these sins. You embarrass me, you embarrass Christians around the world, and most importantly, you embarrass God."
Again, the above strain is suspect, but if it is sincere, this would represent a Christian who is angry at another Christian for speaking out against sin in our society. Below is my response:
God is incapable of being embarrassed. Yes, I am a sinner. I also would consider it a sin to sit back and embrace the will of the devil in our society.
God and the savior of the world, Jesus Christ, says for us not to judge others - 'why are you noticing the spec of dust in your brothers eye yet you don't notice the plank in your own eye'. Jesus was in fact a friend of the prostitute, he stuck up for her when the people wanted to stone her. The only begotten Son of God, Jesus, said to the crowd 'those without sin cast the first stone'.
Jesus obviously saw that it was unfit for this woman who had been subjected in life to this fallen world and led down a path that was destructive to her and imprisoned her in effect, that she should be stoned.
Also, I believe that Jesus saw into the hearts of the men who may have been holding stones in their hands already and saw men who had affairs on their wives themselves. A man who might have wanted to stone her to take out his anger on her because he was just dumped by a woman himself. Men who even were seeking 'justice', but who had lusted after another woman...even only in their hearts, even though they didn't do anything about that lust - according to Jesus's teaching it is the same as doing it.
So in effect, all these men were in the exact same standing regarding sin as this woman. The woman, who was a friend of God, was probably in a superior standing than her accusers.
In any event, it was Jesus's mercy that won over this woman to God. Jesus didn't judge her at all. In her day it was a harsh cast society - very traditional similar to the Middle East now. And Jesus was going hard core against the grain by befriending her. It is Jesus's mercy that wins over people still today.
God is not a wishy washy Dr. Phil as you would like him to be however. Why did Jesus give the Sermon on the Mount? Why did Jesus throw down the table of the money changers in the temple? Why in the Old Testament did God advise His people to stand up for themselves, to take land? Why does Jesus use the term enemy in referring to our cause in the New Testament? If there is an enemy who is it? It is the devil as the Bible says.
The question that our culture is facing right now is critical. What happens to all these children who are being exposed and shaped by the will of the enemy? The homosexual propaganda mafia where children have to emotionally and spiritually deal with people of the same sex arguing about wanting to get married. This would NEVER come up at anyones dinner table with their family had the perverted media not shoved it in our face night after night.
Having children being aware that they live in a society that could have aborted them and treat human life as a commodity coursens their development and coursens our society. Not to mention countless other perversions which is hoisted upon our youth.
So it is in fact a sin to sit back and watch all this happen to the current generation of children. It is in fact the perverted pop culture who is throwing the stones at the innocent, while you sit back and blame the ones sticking up for the innocent. You defend the stone throwers while passing jugement on me who is concerned and speaking out for the innocent. You are pious, but your position does not stand the test of legitimacy.
Jesus was a friend of the prostitute and the ones wanting to throw the stones were no better than her, in fact, they were worse off than her because the prostitute knew the Son of God. And I will also bet that she was no longer a prostitute after knowing the Son of God, surly she was delivered from that destructive lifestyle. The only question is, why as a self proclaimed referee of my comments, would you attempt to view my words intentions and heart under a microscope while the perverted pop-culture is dealing sin to the nations children? I am not a friend to all. First it is my duty to fend against the devil to those who are unknowing and vulnerable. I hate evil as God does.
So, I will not hug and kiss on the cheek with the cultural pornographers of this generation as you suggest while I see kids coming home from school with books titled "My Two Dads" and being taught evolution at school. Only to come home to see two grown men making-out under covers in a bed on MTV. While you sit back and judge my contempt for this. I wonder what you would score Jesus's outrage at the money changers, a failing grade?
The first order of business is protecting the vulnerable and innocent among us - the children, and I can worry about what the peanut gallery thinks of me later. Salvation for all is Jesus's mission. It is difficult to achieve salvation for all when you have the hard core committed rebels against God preaching demonic darkness within our culture day and night beginning with the politically malleable - kids.
So, there is a river that attempts to grow in width and suck in innocent and weak victims thereby drowning them and wisking them away from salvation. This river is the spiritual darkness that is this world as ruled by satan.
And in this fallen world there are people who hate God and side with satan. I have a great passion to combat this. I don't know what world you live in, but it sounds like peaches and cream and everything nice with special hugs for societal pimps. Special hugs for societal pimps is a good idea, but first SOMEONE must fight to stop the bleeding of the moral decay within this country that is the expressed wish of those I mention in this blog.
Salvation for all, but the critical issue is to pry satans hands off the throats of our kids to give the innocent a better chance at coming to salvation.
You should be embarrassed, but for reasons other than my posts. You confront me about judgement while attempting to deal out a harsh judgement about me.
