Some familiar news headlines regarding the war in Iraq could include: CIA Leak Investigation; Iraq: Debating The War; Chaos In The Middle East; Iraqi Terrorism On The Rise; Iraqi Violence, Bombing Takes A Deadly Toll.
Instead, how about these for headlines: "Welfare Money Leak investigation"; "Los Angeles - debating the gang wars"; "Chaos in Atlanta - inner city drug violence on the rise"; "New Washington D.C. Violence - gunfight, stabbing take deadly tolls"; "War in New Orleans"; "Washington DC Declared Unsafe - City Officials Declare A Crime Emergency"?

All the focus on abuses that may have been committed by a few US Military men/women towards people probably mixed up in trying to kill those US Military men/women.

How bout abuses committed by individuals taking part in our misguided government policies? The destruction caused to millions by the millions, not 10-15 individuals, but millions, day after day. Murders committed by those on welfare, crime, atrocities committed in welfare neighborhoods, abuses committed from/by/and to wards of the state?

Could you imagine - "BREAKING NEWS...Welfare is shown to be a disaster - murder committed by welfare recipient in the city of Detroit today"...then lead-in music for the news show...the talking head hammers away at the story - every night, night after night.

No, no. Government free money is good, and its effects are ignored, but Government Military is bad, and its minor abuses are highlighted under a daily megaphone-microscope.

Why?

If you are to scrutinize abuses of the government, why not across the board? "BREAKING NEWS...illegal alien rapes US minor citizen in the back of his stolen car and slits her throat leaving her for dead"...then lead-in music for the news show...the talking head hammers away at the story - every night, night after night.

BREAKING NEWS..."Welfare mom leaves her new born in trash dumpster, it was her 9th child, she has never had a job and she is also addicted to crack"...then lead-in music for the news show...the talking head hammers away at the story - every night, night after night.

Nope.

150,000 soldiers in Iraq, around 20 of them committed crimes...out of 150,000 welfare recipients - how many stories of crimes could fill up 1/2 hour news segments night after night?

How bout the ticker tape at the bottom of the screen, by the AP: "another rape committed by an illegal alien...one more crack baby born out of wedlock...inner city dependant single mothers at an all time high...empirical data shows disastrous results since welfare's inception...divorce rate at all time high as gay marriage debate continues..."

Chris Matthews, Larry King, Wolf Blitzer, Anderson Cooper...anyone...?

According to Rep. Steve King, illegal aliens murder more than ten people each day and kill more than another ten every day while driving drunk. Close to ten thousand people killed per year by illegal aliens. This figure is higher than the number of our solders who have gave their lives in Desert Storm. The representative also pointed out that an illegal alien sexually molests more than five children per day.

According to the Grassfire Organization there are over four million crimes committed by illegal aliens. And more than three hundred thousand illegal aliens will enter our US prison system within a one year time period paid for by you and I, approximately four thousand dollars per month each. Where is our concerned mainstream media on these issues?
