There is a cultural crisis in America. We are the most Christian nation on the planet. Because of this we are the most merciful country in the world. Because we are Christian we have exported the most amount of food to the rest of the world. We give away the most amount of money. We go all over the world helping people, helping them build homes, helping them dig wells, giving them medicine and medical care.

We have exported the most amount of evangelism for Christ compared to every other nation in the history of mankind. Because we believe it is the path to eternal salvation. That's how much we love people. Christians are the most giving and compassionate people who have ever lived.

But, there are people in this country who hate Christians. They don't like us because we respect God's rules. They want a country that is run like the 'easy' babysitter, the one who is lax and lets anything go. Like the carefree substitute teacher you had as a kid that just let you do whatever the heck you wanted. Heck yeah! When we were kids we were like that. But now, we're all grown up. Some of us. You know what happens if you have an easy babysitter and teacher? You wind up ignorant and impoverished and the house burns down.

There are cultural pirates and social fabric thieves in our own country that hate God. They hate his mean ole' rules. When God says no homosexuality they fold their arms and produce a big ole' frowny face. Sorta like having to eat your peas and carrots. I want ice cream!

They also hate the people who follow God. They are dangerous people. They are represented by Hollywood, the media, the education system, the Democratic party, and Liberals.

Hollywood angers Muslims by exporting homosexual worship and the slut-ization of young women. This is why the Arab world calls us the 'great satan'. Liberals are against freedom of speech. For views that don't line up with their own views. Liberals and the ACLU attack freedom of speech by attempting to suppress and ban prayer in school, to ban Christmas displays on public property, to ban public officials from praying at work, to ban Easter Holiday vacation, to ban teachers from wearing a Christian cross outside their shirts, to ban abstinence teaching to students, to ban creationism being taught to students, to ban the Ten Commandments on public property, to ban Christmas movies from being played at outdoor Christmas festivals, to ban 'In God We Trust' on our money, to ban Christmas carols from being sung at schools, to ban students from electively praying at graduation ceremonies, to ban students from mentioning the name 'Jesus' in their graduation speeches, to ban Bibles from schools, to ban Christian crosses from being displayed on public property, to ban Christian crosses from being included in any city, county, town or township seal or logo, to name a few. They vilify and attack personally and try to suppress anyone who speaks out against their causes.

The left is very intolerant. They are trying to orchestrate the biggest church burning in human history. The burning down of the Christian influence in this nation founded by Christians. With lit torches and howling bloodhounds they are hunting down our Christian heritage. The dogs have got the scent of Christ in their nostrils. The makeshift trial has already taken place among the bands of blood thirsty rebels in high places. There is a blood lust for our Christian heritage. Track 'em down, hang 'em high, and make 'em look guilty. A roundup and stifling that has been tried before, two-thousand years ago.

I am against it. I want our country to continue to be the shining light on the hill. I want us to continue to fight for the oppressed, for the lost. I want us to continue to bless people at home and around the world because I love people. I don't think we should turn off the spicket of blessings poured out by God and choke off all the compassion we've offered to billions.

I want us to keep exporting Christianity to third world countries and beyond. Could you imagine how much worse parts of world would be with out this Christian nation's evangelistic, financial, food, and all kinds of other contributions ongoing? Thank God for America and I am sure many survivors of oppressive socialist, communist, and totalitarian regimes the world over would love to thank us personally for our mercy and generosity as Christians.

The Left are antinationalist's, or, they hate America. Why? Because they want to occupy the drivers seat. Like when you are buying a car, you don't necessarily 'talk up' the car to its current owner. You want the deal to go your way. "Yeah, your car is sort of ok, but it doesn't really run that good". The Left can't say America is the greatest nation on earth so give us power because we want to radically change it. No. They must create a dilemma and position themselves as the solution. How else would you convince people to change what is already great? Statistically America blows away any other nation on the planet. Positive statistics in all realms. Head and shoulders above the rest of the earth's countries. But, Liberals must down talk our nation to convince its citizens that a change is needed. America is a bad place. Repressive. Oppressive. In need of their help. You will never hear a Liberal say point blank "America is the greatest nation ever". They would be ashamed and shamed to say such a thing. They are apologetic for being American. It is so unfashionable for Liberals to compliment America. It doesn't jive with their motif, they cant admit that the nation currently run by Christians is the greatest nation on earth. That would blow apart their agenda like a flat tire at a hundred miles an hour. Their chant and murmur is "America is bad as a Christian nation, you need us to fix it". If you ever hear a Liberal even compliment this country it is always without exception contingent upon a second part of the sentence..."America is great...but...". "But we have work to do". "But we can do better". "But there are aspects that I'd like to change". The template is America as run by white Christians is oppressive. That is code speak for "give us power so we can rule you".

Thank God for our democracy. Thank God for our financial blessings in our opportunity rich capitalistic society. No other country in the world offers more unlimited upward mobility to all of its citizens. Thank God for the opportunity to lead the world as the most free and giving and merciful nation that has ever existed.

We know what antiChristian countries can be like. Communist Russia, communist China, the Middle East with the dictatorships, Cuba with its merciless Marxist Communist dictator, the power seizing communist dictatorship of Venezuela that accomplice Democrat Jimmy Carter aided and abetted, and North Korea with its pagan death thirsty Godless leader. I wonder what these dictator's 'human rights' stance is on partial birth abortion. I bet they don't mind some killin'. It would be very dangerous if the Liberals in this country were to succeed. Then we would devolve into a violent oppressive society similar to the rest of the antiChristian nations of the earth.

Liberals are extremely racist. The group they have currently targeted for attack is white Christian males. They are attempting to culturally ghettoize white Christians and strip them of their historical foundations. They are trying to steal away white Christians identity and pride in order to try and tear down their future. This is a method of cultural genocide meant to weaken an opponent, soften them up and break their will. We've have seen throughout history aggressors deculturalize a society when they were attempting to overtake them. To accomplish this they have engaged in a propaganda campaign to continually vilify white Christians. Liberals constantly attempt to turn people who don't have white skin against people who were born with white skin, or caucasian. Liberals will use any excuse to paint white Christian males in a bad light. Distort and bend any news story no matter how contorted and extrapolating to suit the purpose of condemning white Christians reputation. They are trying to pull down, frustrate, discredit, and disempower white Christian males based on their nationality and history. We witnessed the same tactics of mass race fixation and demonization in Nazi Germany by Adolf Hitler and his socialist party.

This is why there is so much fixation on race in the media which is controlled by antiChristians. The majority of the country is white. The majority of the country is Christian. The majority of the country is white Christians. The media is constantly demonizing whites which is by proxy demonizing Christianity according to their agenda. It is code, a scheme, "white male" is code for Christianity in the nonChristian media. When it comes to race the agenda driven liberal media is using race as a propaganda tool to inflict their wants. A wedge to harp and bang away at the power structure. People loose jobs, social programs get passed, it's actual power and not purely perception. Demonize the race who's power you wish to have for your own. Conversely, the antiChristian Liberal media will trumpet all things of those who were born with melon in their skin. Assign God-like status, bow down to the oppressed, repent at once you evil Christian oppressive society. This does two things, first it captures minority votes, then it softens the resolve of the rest of society..."you don't really believe you deserve your success do you? You would feel much better about yourself if you gave it away". When in fact minority races are simply used like blocking backs to use a football analogy. A shield. Minorities are used as a shield and the spear behind it is the antiChristian's coming in behind them to seize power from Christians, gradually. Would minority race's financial or societal status be elevated if the antiChritian forces eventually were able to dissect power away form the Christian majority? Of course not. It would get worse. Their policies weaken and damage minority communities by tearing down the family structure and creating dependency.

It is wonderful that Christians in America are bonded by the very same father no matter what race they are. Christianity promotes unity among all races. We believe that God is our father making us sisters and brothers. Liberals use race to create division for political power. We must fight for Christianity to fight against hatred and strife.

We believe that all of man was created by God in his image. So we look at all of God's people as important. That is why Christians spend their own time and money to reach out to God's creations. Liberals believe we came from filthy apes that crap in the woods.

The Left is very violent. They assemble and fight to be able to conduct in utero dismemberment of unwelcomed viable fetuses, Southern style lynching's of the outnumbered overpowered defenseless suspect infants, and advocate selling the dead flesh for profit. They inspired the Columbine slaughters. They allow the murdering of dissenting civilians without repercussions as was done in Ruby Ridge Idaho and in Waco Texas. They want only government employees to have guns and want to disarm civilians rendering them defenseless thereby setting the stage for tyranny. They believe that if you stand against them you can be snuffed out, or you should be chopped up and your body parts sold. And they would like to inject you with a lethal dose of poison if you don't feel like living anymore. Tens of millions of fully functional captive humans have been slaughtered for profit under this regimes freedom-of-choice Mein Kampf. And the Democratic regime receives not pilfered gold, diamonds, or jewelry, but massive cash infusions from the fetus Holocaust supporters and contributions directly from the facilities or camps themselves.

They are responsible for the attack on the family structure with the worshipping of homosexual marriage, the defense and humanization of pedophilia, the agenda driven commodization of recreational sex outside of marriage, the killing of unborn offspring for convenience, and by turning the wife against the head of the household husband.

The Left is very dishonest and uses deception all the time. They lie and say that they don't in fact hate God, but instead try to convince everyone that they are simply trying to be tolerant. More tolerant than God apparently. Because everything they are tolerant of comes form the devil according to God. Liberals fight for our right to sin and they discount God's warnings that it leads to bad places. The Left sides with Satan's desires because the devil advocates rebelling against God's rules by questioning God's existence, authority, or legitimacy. This approach to life is more appealing to the visceral nature of man.

God is against homosexuality, "hey, that's mean". God is against abortion, "wow, that's oppressive to women". God says you should work for money and not collect welfare, "how heartless". God says you should resist evil and press against it, "how closed minded". God advises his people to militarily defend their nation from emboldened enemies, "how unenlightened". What would God do without Liberals correcting him every step of the way?

A Christian society's approach to life is to submit to a higher form of wisdom, something smarter than ourselves. God the creator. Such as all of our founding fathers did. As referenced in our Constitution. We submit to his authority and his rules. Why else would we be the most blessed nation on earth?

Liberals arrogant way is to shun the idea of a God. To get rid of him so they can do what their flesh desires without the burden of condemnation. Liberals hide behind smoke and mirrors claiming they are paving they way for all sorts of immoral behavior in the name of love, compassion, understanding, freedom. They elevate themselves to a position of making their own rules. They claim to be suitable to formulate a life plan for mankind.

In Isaiah 65: 2-3 God says: "I have stretched out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, Who walk in a way that is not good, According to their own thoughts; A people who provoke Me to anger continually to My face". Liberals like to think of themselves as cutting edge, progressive, but really their just avant-guard circa Adam and Eve.

Have you ever babysat a child that wants to make his or her own rules? What and when they eat. When they go to bed. All children try it. They are ignorant of the reasons for their parents decisions. Some want their own way so badly they'll inflict harm on themselves to get it, or, spend eternity in hell. Liberals have no relationship with their creator. They have alienated themselves by virtue of their positions. The ones that protest the fact that they have rejected God claim to worship a God that lets them make their own rules as they see fit. So according to them God is a floaty cloud that has never revealed himself or his intentions to his creations, or, he has revealed himself in multiple variations or flavors depending on the mood of man. Or they claim to be Christians but say they don't judge others who are not. But, if you believe the Bible, all of your fellow man who are not Christian are in a serious dilemma for eternity...don't you want to help them out? Credibility challenged, or, liars.

Liberals in the media daily pipe into our homes their fussy fit tantrums against God and his rules. Attorneys for the Left drop down, fold their arms tight, and undauntedly hold their breath demanding what they want at the toy store. The Democratic party looses their composure and verbally lashes out stomping their feet prompted by talk of a nap. They are Satan's little brats who refuse to be God's children. They run away in the parking lot after being removed from their child car seat.

Liberals claim that when you speak the truth it's 'mean'. So they developed their own system for lying known as 'politically correct'. Their code is 'the truth is mean, lies are friendly', or, 'God is cruel, the devil is nice'.

Liberals hate our military. The US military is the military for a Christian nation. It advances the cause, power, and scope of our Christian nation. If Liberals don't like Christian power here on our shores they certainly don't want the broadening of influence of this Christian nation around the earth. They want us to stay at home and shrink and desolve as a Christian nation. If our military was in place to ensure abortion rights, or to advance the cause of homosexuality, or used to redistribute white Christian's power and influence I believe they would have an improved opinion of our military. According to their propaganda America as a Christian nation has gained its success by violence and by overthrowing the weak. The only evil that exists in the world is Christianity in their view. This is why they attacked our military with their homosexual god. In Liberals heart of hearts they side with any nation confronting this Christian nation because they have common interests. The bringing down of a Christian nation. Liberals don't want our nation to go away and disappear as our enemies do, however they wouldn't mind a hand in tearing down the current hierarchy in order to resurrect themselves. This is why the Left attacks our military with propaganda in the news media. This is why the Left defends our enemies and not our soldiers. This is why the Left is so eager for an American military defeat - to humiliate a Christian army. A Christian President, and a Christian administration, backed by Christian voters are in trouble against a non-white non-Christian opposition according to the Democrats. And they love it.

In the eyes of Conservatives our nations power and prosperity is a blessing directly from God. And our military is used to thwart evil attempts by the enemy to steal away the glory of our God given position. The military is also to insure our interests are met and that we are able to defend ourselves in an inhospitable world as defined by the Bible. We believe our prosperity is God given and we also believe that our duty to defend it is also from God. We believe that evil does exist on this earth, but instead of believing its the followers of Christ we instead believe it is those opposing him.

They worship idols and false Gods. They worship government programs as the solution instead of God or Christian churches. They worship drugs to ease all sorts of nervous spiritual conditions instead of relying on God. They use skin color for politics. They worship Mother Earth hysteria myths. They push for sexual liberation that imprisons our young kids who don't know any better. They promote dependency on the government thereby taking away dependency on God the creator of the universe.

Liberals do not respect humans at all. They believe we came from animals. They cheer the killing of viable baby humans. They think we should have sex with each other in unnatural ways. They want to destroy the Christian foundation in America that is responsible for helping more people around the world than any other nation. When it comes to life and mankind, Liberals spit in God's face.

Don't be confused with all the colorful words and theoretical metaphors meant to conceal the motives of the Left. Their pet projects, pork, and special interest underdog protection causes. The Left's real beef is with Christianity. Conservatives, so called 'right wingers'. Those who chose to listen to God the awesome creator. We love, honor, and respect God. Suicide Muslim bombers are much less of a threat than Liberals who plot our demise out in the open among us.

And sadly, the dirty alarming secret that is difficult to admit is, we have a lot of people in this country who now side with and follow the Godless. We need a miracle now. We've needed miracles in the past, the Civil War, World War II, but never before have we needed a miracle from ourselves.

I participated in an general audience online community that was basically a large chat room. People would fill out their 'profile' to tell about themselves. There was multiple choice questions and open ended question sections.

The one thing I noticed was that there was one commonality, one shared vein that everyone there shared - they were all Godless. Looking at many profiles this is the one thing I noticed most. The reason I point this out is because the concentration of Godlessness was disproportionate as compared to the rest of society. For example, 95% of the rest of society does not reject, disassociate, disregard or mock their so-called religion.

Almost all of them expressed great conviction in the open ended comments sections for various other things. Movies, foreign films, video games, books, friends, partying, tattoos, body piercing, pets, on and on. An extreme amount of passion for these type things in most cases. Very vibrant opinions, specific tastes and preferences for hobbies and interests, mostly things to do to kill time. And there was a high degree of bizarre depravity. A bit of a 'teenage wasteland' so to speak comprised mainly of 20 and 30 something's. People who had hippies for mom's and dad's, broken homes such is the norm today.

There was a multiple choice section regarding religion. It asked you to choose a religion, then choose how serious you were about it. View American profiles this is what you would find nine time out of ten: "Agnosticism; laughing about it"; "Christianity but not too serious about it"; "Agnosticism but not too serious about it"; "Catholicism; laughing about it"; "Other and somewhat serious about it"; "Atheism and very serious about it"; "Other and very serious about it"; "Other; laughing about it"; "Christianity and somewhat serious about it"; "Atheism; laughing about it"; "Other".

Out of viewing perhaps two hundred profiles I found two "Christianity and very serious about it".

In fact, many times the ones here who have checked 'and serious about it' next to their claimed 'religion' most likely were the ones who chose atheist, or agnostic, or an American who has steered towards an eastern religion. So mainly the only ones who are committed, are the ones committed to rebellion. Cheers! Of course this point does mimic our modern day Greek inspired American culture to a T.

Even for the youthful, or the lowest aggregate median age of the members, I believe it is still heavily skewed towards spiritually lost as a group. Like, if the rapture hit today, the members of this community would have a lot to talk about, amongst themselves. This was a commentary on one online community only. I cant suppose that the rest of the online communities are similar, but with such a large segment represented, perhaps ten thousand or more members, I would say it is a safe bet.

I attribute this to several factors:

1. The average age there is young, and youth are rebellious, questioning, finding their own way, hurt, or lost. Particularly the ones that fall into those categories have rejected the idea of a God, let alone one that they might have a relationship with.

2. People who are spending time on internet chat rooms have typically a chaotic life, there is often a bit of a social dilemma there, sort of an undercurrent of turning away from physical society and being drawn into a less burdensome method of interacting with fellow humans, removed or detached by choice or from life's circumstances. And with these criteria in place this points to one who has some sort of void in there lives, a lack of comfort with themselves in their daily surroundings or a lack of confidence. This would point out to me that their is no deeper meaning, a lack of a foundation, no mature adjustment to larger looming questions, but rather an escape. Something went wrong.

3. The absolutely depraved way in which our culture has shifted towards all things anti-social and promotes a Godless society. This has a greater effect on youth, because they tend to be much more impressionable.

So, for the rejection of God there in this mini-city online community we have youth, wounded youth, and the influence of the repeal of God in our culture all combined to form a melting pot of scattered energy without true direction.

This leads to a greater point:

With all the knocked up young chic's at the mall and sex going on, men and women hate each other like never before. It is a chess game of who's-zooming-who one-upmanship between the sexes. The way in which people interact with each other, its different. There is more of an openness but at the same time there is more of an isolation.

There is a complete and utter breakdown of social discourse in the United States of America, we are crumbling from within. There is no brotherhood here, anymore.

The communist's agenda is to disunite the family structure, weaken the moral fabric, and tear down any convictions of any principles whatsoever. Turn woman against man and woman against herself. The removal of the family team and the scattering of a generation. Weak and left wondering with no compass.

Name our familial assets? Is it your great great grandma? Everyone else is scattered. Unity is now the exception. Dismemberment is expected.

A large society made up of many lost individuals does not strength make. This is a scattered flock and the culture of anti-God is the wolf.




In the Bible Jesus is often referred to as a shepard. The shepard promotes unity. If the flock is lured away by so-called greener pastures of deception, they become scattered. Once scattered reunification is nearly impossible with confusion, a lack of leadership, and being lost. Now the individual members are vulnerable to attack, and attacked they are. Look at our youth. What a mess. This is the most confused and directionless sheep I have ever seen. With free will we are wondering around blind and Shepard-less meanwhile our family unit and sense of a social community has already caved in around us. We are made vulnerable as a nation by first having our jugular severed, the family unit. Then we as a nation foolishly wandered away from God per the advice of Satan.

For example, the Clintonization of America. When high school girls ventured into routinely and irreverently performing oral sex on their guy friends. You and me re-voted him in because the money was good. You traded your daughter for money soccer moms. Maybe that's why you let your daughters dress like whores.

Now, what is the bond that holds our nation together? Is it the communities of individual families? Nope. Is it communities of individuals? Not really. We are now practically a nation of individuals. The majority of families are broken. And we are a broken nation of loneliness.

And the rise of internet socialization is the fruit of this isolation, not the other way around. It is not a physical isolation people are experiencing, it is a spiritual one. People are longing for things they cant even find face to face with others anymore.

We as a nation are a scattered flock. Look at our politics. Look at your neighborhood. Look at your community. Look at yourself.



Our culture is shifting rapidly back to a Greek style culture. Our heritage was European, an imperialist type of culture. However our forefathers borrowed the Greek system of government, the democracy, same goes for the judicial system, our court system. You can even see the influence in the architecture in our government buildings - the capital, columns on court buildings, etc. etc. - many cues representing the Greek style product we use.

But unlike the ancient Greeks, and the Romans who also used the Greek system, we had a different twist. We were as a country not rooted in multiple gods but only in one God, a common God. And, unlike the Romans we were a very puritan culture, moral, conservative.

However, we are now shifting back in full force to the cultural aspects of ancient Greece and Rome. Not just the system of government but the actual culture. An immoral and disposable society with multiple gods.

Sure, disposable relationships, disposable fetuses, disposable children, disposable grandparents in the old-folks homes. Gods of all sorts from materialism to the constant pursuit of worldly pleasures.

In ancient Rome a reference to magic or witchcraft was often referring to the use of drugs, we have that too, and the glorification of gratuitous violence provided to our youth. Sex promoted and glorified as cheap entertainment rather than ever including intimacy. Homosexuality glorification and promotion.

The self congratulatory celebration of and over reliance on our government. Paying the government to deal with all our problems because we just don't care enough to do it ourselves - social security, welfare, on and on.

As you know Rome fell from within do to the decadence of not knowing how to handle and maintain success including the reasons listed above. Which we have in common with them.

George Foreman. What a guy. He was a mean nasty guy, no one liked him when he was younger. I've seen some old tapes of him talking, and he didn't seem that bad to me, not like a Mike Tyson or anything. But I guess his reputation and personality were quite unlikable according to some.

He was from the 'hood'. A huge powerful guy that used to be the bully in the bad neighborhood, beat people up for their lunch money, that sort of thing.

He got into boxing and dominated. He would destroy men. In the Olympics he won, and walk around the ring holding an American flag. I thought that was cool because that was in the hate whitey late 60's. But anyway, many people might of looked at him as a 'thug'.

Then, George fought Mohamed Ali. To put this fight in context, George destroyed Joe Frazier. And Mohamed had a very difficult time with Frazier. So, it was common knowledge that George was going to chop down Mohamed like a weed. But, when the fight actually happened, George hit the canvas - knocked out. And during the entire fight Mohamed was taunting him, humiliating him. This effected George very deeply after the fight.

George went on to fight more, but was never the same, he was mentally, emotionally, and spiritually damaged goods. Then, after one fight George said he died in the locker room. He was laying on a table and he said he began to slip into darkness, he said something like 'I just knew I was dying'. He describes going into a very dark place, empty, a very bad place. He believed at the time he was going into hell.

Then, he said he uttered something to the effect 'I don't believe in God, but if there was a God he could take me out of here'. Then George said he woke up. He recounts that he was brought back to life, saved, and renewed in that moment. And from that moment he was a new man instantly. Nothing the same as he was before, a complete transformation. He began walking around the locker room hugging everyone in there and telling them he loves them. A new life, new breath, new smell, new vision, new heart. What? George Foreman?

In George's younger life he never was a happy guy. When he told his sister he was going to be champ she said something to the effect 'no you wont, no one from this neighborhood becomes anything'. He went around beating people up and did that for a living and became very famous and made a lot of money. But something was missing for George and that Mohamed humiliation and defeat brought this void out in the open to George. His life spiraled out of control spiritually until that climactic revelation in the locker room.

From then it was all different. George became crazy in the worlds eyes. He dropped out of boxing and became a minister. In the hood, on street corners...a 'fall from grace' according to the world. A fall from grace following directly the creator of the universe. A fall from grace serving the only living God in a personal way.

Who would want to go from fame and fortune to obscurity and being mocked? I sure would not. But the power of God led George, and George was faithful.

George never boxed again after that time. He said he didn't miss it, and he didn't even train on a heavy bag or put on a pair of gloves, nothing.

What? God would want someone taken away from wealth and put on a street corner in the hood that George once worked his way out of? In this case yes. And George surely could not have done it without the power and companionship, love of the Holy Spirit. So George was written off by society.

George said he wouldn't mention who he was while preaching on the street, he didn't want people to only listen to him because of his name. But then he said he couldn't get anyone to listen to him, so he began to tell who he was just to get people to listen.

Then, God provided George with a wife. He said when he met her "that's the kind of person I've been looking for my whole life". And they had multiple sons, each one named George.

George had a very small church in the south. And he also ministered at a boxing gym that he operated. He got back into boxing from the standpoint of being with young men and women and leading them. But he never boxed. His whole life was a ministry at that time.

But, George needed some money for his church. He was invited to some churches so that he may give his testimony and collect donations to be put back into his church and boxing ministry. Once George was sitting in the front row after giving his testimony. As money was being collected for his cause from the church members, the pastor of the church was saying to his congregation "c'mon, you can do better than that", encouraging them to be generous for George's cause. George said to himself "I will never beg for money again". He felt humiliated. That instant did not sit right in his heart.

So he said to himself like, 'what do I do, what have I done to make money?' Boxing.

George came back to boxing to raise money for his church. He declared "I'm going to be the heavyweight champion of the world" very early on. George was over 40 years old and overweight. I remember television coverage of his quest in the beginning. They showed George Foreman, who most nearly forgot, bench pressing in an old dilapidated garage type facility. George virtually had no money, that's what it looked like to me. The television coverage's angle was more one of a spoof, entertaining this crazy former boxer become Jesus freak. No one took him seriously. A backwards God kook.

George's wife even said something to the effect 'your going to do what?' But then she said she saw him stick to it, keep at it, and the pounds came falling off of him. Then she began to take notice and say something like 'maybe he is serious'.

George began with smaller fights, easier opponents. He worked his way up, coming back with a 'Part II' of a very physically, mentally, and emotionally demanding boxing career. At age 45. After a decade in retirement.

Then, George took on Evander Holyfield. He didn't win, but, he did last the full twelve rounds, and he did present a challenge to Holyfield. People said, hmm.

Then, the title bout. Foreman had the opportunity to fight the heavyweight champ at the time, Michael Moore, on November 5, 1994. During the fight George knocked out Moore, looked up to Heaven in disbelief, then went over to his corner got on his knees and thanked God.

What a journey.



At age 45 George Forman is now the heavyweight champ of the world. He came out of exile, out of a very very long retirement and at 'middle age' became boxing's best. Unheard of. A miracle.

And, along his rise back in the boxing game, George was a commercial smash hit. Many commercial endorsements, much pay. To the media George was no longer a menacing bruiser but a lovable guy. And there was this little thing called the 'Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine', the 'George Foremen Grill', which sold more units than practically anything. George re-became a multi-millionaire and he was very respected, and even honored.

Think about this story. A tremendous fall from grace with a complete redirection in life going from the things of the world and following God where 'to the eye' would not be the most inviting place from the outside worldly view. Following the Holy Spirit, not by the outwardly appearance, or intellectually, but by the move of God, trusting in him.

How many times might someone get out of faith thinking 'I'm tired of this life' as compared to the life I had. But, George was never happy in his former life before God. So he was sustained by his relationship with God, a relationship George had thirsted for his whole life. Unconditional love.

This is God working in modern day life, up to the minute, real, transforming, leading, and changing things. Saul in the Bible was a Christian killer, then on the road an Angel of the Lord appeared to him, spoke to him, and transformed him completely. The angel struck 'fear' into him, meaning he now respected God for being the only true God, and I'm sure he was also very impressed by God's nature during and after that incident. Saul's name was changed to Paul and he became one of the biggest advocates for Christ in the Bible.

God touching a life. You trusting in him, following him. He leads to a good place. Only his way can be the most successful avenue in our lives. Greatness achieved inside and out only through him. God wants greatness for us. His plans are better than we could imagine. That's why we need to seek him, get to know his voice, so we can learn to trust him so that he can lead us to a place we never could go on our own. Spiritually first.

It does not always seem obvious that the path he is showing looks good, it may look foolish to our eyes. But that's where faith comes in - it bridges the gap where the intellect tries to infect us.

George Foreman is an awesome example of what God does. The heavyweight champ at age 45. No way did George even consider that possibility early on in his life when he first retired form boxing. 'Ok George, your in your 20's now, your going to retire from boxing, become a pastor and a father, slip from the publics eye, then, years and years later your going to come back at age 45 and become wildly financially blessed and become the heavyweight champ again and you will be honored'...sure...

George had no idea of the big plan. All he knew is that he was from the inner city and had scarce if any loving relationships in his life and suddenly here was God wanting to love George for who he was. And that's all she wrote, that's exactly what George longed for, to be truly loved, and he got it only through God. Because of George's upbringing circumstances he had a greater need for affection, a deep void. When that big void was filled George became very loyal like a small boy that wouldn't want to leave his fathers side, his protector.

And George's willingness to follow God led to awesome results. In that George had deep purpose in his life. He served God, has a relationship with God, a deep love shared between them. And through George's ministry he touched many many peoples lives. What a reward to effect so many. And, with his public comeback and miraculous life, he touched millions, ministered to millions.

Also thrown into the kiln in God fashion George became financially blessed and well respected. This is God in peoples lives. If George did not follow God who knows what his life would have become. I can guarantee you it would have no way been anywhere near the way it turned out, the God way.

George Foreman is an excellent testimony. His life. His miracle. And when you see George you can see his smiling face now. He sort of beams and comes across as a genuine guy, humble. George is a living testament of the power of the Holy Spirit. God is alive and working among us.

We live in a world that many times the voices of the world are permitted to drown out the still voice of the Lord. And this is a shame because God has great things for all of us who believe.
